This special residence is the culmination of many years of dreaming and planning on the part of the Owner. The dream was to create a place in the middle of wine country that would facilitate the philanthropic desires of the Owner - through wine. The residence rests on a steep hillside overlooking the Columbia River near Crow Butte State Park. Much of the hillside has been blasted away to make room for the 3,500 sf wine cave which will also serve as part of the foundation for the home. The Wine Cave will feature a complete Kitchen facility, Barrel Room, Tank Room, Racking area, and Dining Room. The Dining Room leads out to a patio overlooking the River. |
The residence also features 3 complete Bedroom suites, an Observation Tower, Entry Foyer, Upper Level Deck and two spacious patios. The exterior building material shall consist of stone and stucco, along with a "terra cotta" style roof. |

The process of site remediation necessary to create the construction pad, created an opportunity with the amount of large basalt boulders in that they have become the informal markers depicting the property of the residence. The boulders line the entry path as well as the path leading to the Cave entrance. |
