The Owner of this

established lumberyard desired to create

a new company image

and contacted Terence L. Thornhill, Architect to

provide design leadership

to implement this makeover.

The original metal building was re-roofed with colored standing seam metal

to match the metal roof incorporated in the new storage warehouse added

to the end of the existing building.

The street-side elevation was

converted to a heavy timber post and beam articulation depicting a rustic

and welcome image. The storage

yard, parking, and street access were

all reviewed and revised to better

serve the shipping and delivery process as well as the individual customer.
