The Owner of this engineering consulting firm approached Terence L. Thornhill, Architect with the desire to build a new office building for their operation as well as space for lease.

 

 

 

  A large common foyer space was designed complete with an in-ground water feature and koi pond.

Through the foyer is a large common conference room with

soaring vaulted ceilings and a radiused window wall

capturing a 180-degree golf course view.  A rustic, natural appeal

was created through the use of cultured stone and stucco

on the exterior of the building. 

  

 

 

Creative detailing around the windows and doors affords each opening a special distinct appearance.

 

The exterior is landscaped with low maintenance plants and is accented by a large exterior patio area accessible through the conference room and

from the surrounding turf areas.

 

 

Another desire was to design a casual, cottage type style that fit the casual nature of the firm.   A "U" shaped building design evolved taking advantage of the golf course view which surrounds it.
