Designed in a radial configuration, this 800 person capacity Catholic Church is arranged with the altar, tabernacle and crucifix as the central visual and structural point of the worship space.

The roof over the worship space is spanned with conventional heavy timber trusses borrowing traditional roof forms in a non-traditional seating-in-the-round configuration. The steep roof pitch gable form extends through the worship space into the large and accommodating entry foyer and gathering space.

Two pairs of 10’ tall Mahogany doors grace the entrance giving it a sense of importance and warmth to the visitor and parishioner alike.

The entry foyer floor is finished with a patterned cork surface. A central flowing baptismal font is the focus of the foyer.

The terraced musical loft area to the left of the main altar comfortably accommodates 55 choir members.

Fourteen windows, flanking the sides of the church, are the primary means of delivering natural daylight to the

interior worship space. These

windows also serve

as the Stations of

the Cross and are illuminated from outdoor landscape lighting to provide

a pensive and contemplative

interior space.

Split face concrete block was used as a base level exterior finish material with accented stucco above to the parapet wall. Behind and connected to the worship space is a vast multi-purpose activity center for wedding receptions, funeral wakes, and other church related activities.
